You may want to pick up a few nets for the cones as it tends to unravel faster than I sew...just sharing my experience with it...but it's good stuff! Lately I've been all about Glide thread...I really resisted it at first because it's kind of a "trendy" thread...but truly I love it. I use it in the long arm...and I prefer it in the long arm because the thread path is so LONG versus my sewing machine...and it is a bit more forgiving with thread build up.Valerie the Pumpkin Patch Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09350509427673390188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2720168612253392335.post-70402936865066972332013-12-27T10:04:16.816-08:002013-12-27T10:04:16.816-08:00Thanks for the inf about the thread. Polyester is so much stronger and doesn't lint up the machines like cotton. I need to buy thread and am SO tempted to stop listening to the 'experts' on the cotton on cotton only theory.

I (and my machines) like Signature cotton thread. It does not lint up the machines. Many others say it is bad thread to use. Many others say Aurifil is the best thread, but I find it DOES cause major lint in my machines.

And for the record, I have a 13 year old Pfaff QuiltStyle, a Juki 98e and a couple older Singers. I've had the same results with all of them. They hate Aurifil! lol (YLI too...bad in my machines)Sherri https://www.blogger.com/profile/04928191196045775058noreply@blogger.com
