You aren't done yet!!<br />I do this all the time. Paint dries lighter. Then add black metallic threads for quilting. It'll add lots of black depth texture and sparkle. Keep going. Like oil floats on water, the paintstik paint will stay on top of acrylic, watercolors, textile paints, etc. The other paints will paint on top of the Shiva, but they will eventually come right off.Regina B Dunnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14377568746998756667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2720168612253392335.post-87154192342883049092013-12-06T06:59:02.909-08:002013-12-06T06:59:02.909-08:00I just tried painting on fabric with a new Golden ...I just tried painting on fabric with a new Golden acrylic product -- High Flow Acrylics, they're pigment paints and they don't get watered down or lighten up when mixed with water. They'd be perfect for something like this where you need a darker color.Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18331732432479030135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2720168612253392335.post-51241275267215806762013-12-06T06:04:14.545-08:002013-12-06T06:04:14.545-08:00I always use textile paint on cotton. it works per...I always use textile paint on cotton. it works perfect.Inekehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12090981055950723460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2720168612253392335.post-8558797090020887822013-12-06T06:02:20.671-08:002013-12-06T06:02:20.671-08:00Try using Shiva oil Sticks or Crayola Crayons, the...Try using Shiva oil Sticks or Crayola Crayons, they both will go over the paint and any hair gel that might act as a resist. Heat set with an iron for the crayon too. Should give you nice rich color, even just to highlight it.
